When you install Visual Studio 2015, your computer will receive multiple new shortcuts for several programs. In addition to "Visual Studio 2015", you may also see a link to a program called "Blend for Visual Studio 2015".
Blend is not the right shortcut to use! Launching Blend will not give you the same IDE or new-project options that are documented within your course. Do not use Blend for Visual Studio.
When you are ready to start programming in Visual Basic or C#, be sure to click on the "Visual Studio 2015" link instead of the "Blend" link. This will start the correct program and your experience should match the descriptions in our lessons.
